1939 Mural Anniversary, Immanuel Lutheran

Immanuel Lutheran Church in Norwood Pennsylvania has a treasure that turns 80 years old this year. It is a hand painted mural on the back wall of the sanctuary which was painted by renowned 1930’s Philadelphia artist Miriam Tindall Smith in loving memory of her Mother, Jennie Minerva Tindall. The Southeast Pennsylvania Synod Lutheran Historical Society will visit Immanuel on November 16 for a historical pilgimage. Public and members are welcome to join the pilgrimage for devotions, history and future plans for Immanuel, beginning at 10:00 am.
